The cutaway beak design of these extraction forceps is ideally suited to application at the bony crest of teeth which have been avulsed or sectioned. They are also well suited as pediatric extraction forceps. The slender profile and sharpened leading edge provide access to the tightest spots and penetration into the bone for the best purchase possible. These dental extraction forceps are serrated with the long axis on the inside gouge, and cross serrated on the upper beak.
