AB and AS Patterns

Our most popular universal forceps patterns for over 30 years. For general exodontia, these forceps are for application above the alveolar ridge, directly to the erupted crown structure. The principal design innovation is the serrated parallel gouge design of the inner beaks. Unlike the standard patterns from which they derive, these forceps will not pinch the crown off. The entire apical third of the beaks is in contact with the neck of the tooth. Already multiplied, clinical contact with the tooth is further enhanced by the inclusion of two sets of serrations. The operator maintains the surest purchase of the varied tooth structure and is able to do a thorough job of luxation without fear of fracture of the tooth.
