The latest advance in German forceps design. These forceps feature five mechanical advantages over the standard patterns. The sharpened beaks cut through dense surrounding bone so that the forceps progresses apically and achieves contact with the root structure. The tapered design will fit into areas where a standard design cannot be applied and reduces trauma to the soft tissues as they are reflected rather than crushed. The parallel gouge design is used again here to render contact with dozens of points on the crown and root structure avoiding fracture of the brittle crown. Finally, the forceps feature long axis serrations which remain in contact with the structure as apical progress is made.
